The World Health Organization (WHO) has appealed to the international community to provide more than $ 43 million, in order to save 388 thousand people affected by conflict in Libya.

The WHO representative in Libya, Jafar Hussein clarified via the organization's Facebook that the ongoing conflict in Libya resulted in the full or partial closure of many health facilities, limiting the possibility of providing services to citizens.

An assessment by the WHO, in the course of 2018, 2019, shows the exposure of health facilities and medical workers to more than 41 attacks, which exacerbated the health situation in the country, according to the organization.
