The Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) office in Libya, Elizabeth Hoff emphasized the importance of the health media role in Libya, to consolidate the concept of awareness and healthy lifestyles among the public sector.
This came during WHO's official's visit, with the Director-General of the National Centre for Disease Control, Badr al-Din Al-Najjar, to the HQ of the radio station dedicated for health programs in Tripoli.
The Executive Director of the radio station, Mohammed Al-Jazawi disclosed earlier that they will start broadcasting their programs soon after the completion of all technical requirements.
