The World Health Organization (WHO) said it had provided medical supplies to more than 40 health centres across Libya.

The organization explained on its website Wednesday that the shipment consists of medicines and general first aid, sufficient to treat 220,000 patients for three months.

The medical shipment included antibiotics and medicines for noncommunicable diseases, such as high blood pressure, respiratory infections, in addition to leishmaniasis and scabies that have been recently reported in Libya.
