The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday that humanitarian needs for health facilities were provided to the city of Benghazi after the two car bomb explosions.

The WHO stated in a post on the United Nations Support Mission in Libya official website that after the deadly explosion, its staff focal points arrived at the scene and began supporting Benghazi health authorities to treat the wounded.

The organization strongly condemned the double bombings in the Salmani district of Benghazi, which resulted in the death and injury of many civilians, offering condolences to the families of the victims and renewing their humanitarian commitment to support Libyans all over the country.
