The World Health Organization (WHO) office in Libya condemned the bombing of two field hospitals by Haftar's militias last Thursday; one in Swani area and the other in Ein Zara, south of Tripoli.

"The shelling of the field hospital in Al-Swani area resulted in the injury of a doctor and two paramedics," WHO confirmed in a statement.

No information was released regarding the amount of damage caused to Ein Zara hospital.

WHO stressed that armed conflict is threatening the health care system in Tripoli, renewing its call that medical personnel should not be targeted by military attacks.
