The US Secretary of State Assistant Barbara Leaf has stressed the urgent need for Libyan leaders to agree on a path to hold the elections without delay.
Leaf met with Libya's Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush, who is visiting New York to attend the 77th regular session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The US diplomat reiterated the necessity of working with the UN mission and the Secretary-General Special Representative Abdulla Bathily to hold elections.
