Warlord Khalifa Haftar received yesterday at his HQ in Rajma, the Egyptian intelligence chief, Abbas Kamel.

"The meeting comes within the frame of counter-terrorism operations in North Africa, and in the context of joint cooperation with Egypt," the information office of Haftar's forces stated.

Egypt is one of the most prominent countries in supporting Haftar's war on Tripoli.

Haftar has visited Cairo twice since the start of the aggression on Tripoli, where he met with President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi who repeatedly confirmed his support for Haftar, in what he called his efforts to eradicate terrorism.
