The Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections (CCMCE), set Friday next being January 8, as the final date for closing the voting registry in the municipalities of Tajoura and Sabratha.
The CCMCE called on all citizens to register online by sending a text message to the appropriate number for this purpose, before twelve o’clock midnight on Friday next.
Meanwhile, the municipalities of Swani Bin Adam, Zliten, Qasr Al-Akhyar and Hai Al-Andalus are due to hold elections on Thursday, January 7.
