Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation and Organizations Omar Ketti has discussed with the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis opening direct air routes between the two countries.

The matter was on the table at the Libyan-Greek Economic Cooperation, held recently in the capital Tripoli.

Welcoming the reopening of the Greek embassy and consulate in Libya, Ketti emphasized the need to resume consular and visa services as soon as possible.

For his part, Fragogiannis affirmed his country's commitment to helping Libya stay on the path towards the elections, noting with interest the Stability Support Conference scheduled this October in Tripoli.
