Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maitiq, met on Wednesday with the British Ambassador to Libya, Frank Baker, who announced that the British House of Commons would postpone the discussion on the use of frozen Libyan funds until next October.

According to a statement published by the Information Office of PC, the meeting discussed the latest developments in Libya and the repercussions of events in the oil crescent region, where Baker reiterated his country's support for the government of the Presidential Council, and its contribution to the restoration of stability in Libya.

Those present at the meeting also discussed means of supporting the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in different fields and their development, in addition to steps taken in implementing economic cooperation program between both countries.
