The U.S. Embassy in Libya has expressed its readiness to provide full support to the Libyan political dialogue, reaffirming its rejection to the aggression on Tripoli.

This came following the meeting that gathered Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj and the U.S. Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland in London yesterday.

The embassy described the meeting as encouraging.

It also noted that discussions focused on efforts to end the violence in southern Tripoli, amid mounting involvement of state actors and mercenaries in the Libyan conflict and the high number of civilian casualties.
