The United States said it hopes that the Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) continues to build on the progress it has already made in the security file.

"The meetings in Geneva are another chance to find common ground on military, security, and fiscal issues that still divide Libya." The US ambassador Richard Norland said on the US embassy Twitter account on Wednesday.

The 5+5 JMC concluded its meetings in Geneva on Wednesday after devising a plan for the withdrawal of mercenaries from Libya, according to the UN Support Mission in Libya.
