U.S. Embassy in Libya meets Libyan legal experts to discuss constitutional issues

Deputy Chief of Mission at U.S. Embassy in Libya, Joshua Harris has discussed with Libyan legal and constitutional experts possible options for creating a constitutional framework in Libya.

The U.S. Embassy has clarified that Harris participated in the roundtable meeting organized by the American Bar Association on November 5 with the support of the US Agency for International Development.

Harris reiterated the U.S. support for an immediate end to the fighting in Libya and re-establishing the UN-led political process to provide a safe and prosperous future for all Libyans, according to the embassy.
