The jury of Washington court convicted Thursday Libyan national Mustafa Imam on charges of involvement in the attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi in 2012.

The jury rendered a partial award, where it accused the 47-year-old Imam of plotting and supporting terrorists and engaging in the destruction of government property, according to the Washington Post, adding that the jury was unable to convict Imam in about 17 other charges, including the murder of US citizens.
