The Officer-in-Charge of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Raisedon Zenenga, has discussed with a group of members of both the House of Representatives and the High Council of State the current political situation and efforts to activate the electoral process in Libya.
Zenenga confirmed that the focus of the United Nations and Adviser to the Secretary-General, Stephanie Williams, is on holding the elections in the shortest possible time and building a constitutional base through intra-Libyan mechanisms, UNSMIL tweeted.
