The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) released its fourth report on the United Nations Mine Action Service in Libya during the months of May and June 2018.

The report indicated that 551 tons of explosive waste were discovered during the period between May to June, noting that it had disposed 520 tons of the quantity and that 31 of the explosives was transferred to a temporary storage location by military engineering experts, in cooperation with the National Safety Authority.

The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) said that it had received assistance from the countries of France, Spain and Switzerland, expressing its gratitude for this support.
