The UN Support Mission in Libya has called for holding a virtual session on Thursday for the participants of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) to finalize selection of the mechanism (the two mostly voted options) to elect new Libyan executive authority.
UNSMIL said the meeting will discuss selecting a mechanism to reach the best way forward in implementing the agreed-upon roadmap of the LPDF.
The LPDF announced earlier the selection of second and third options of mechanisms as they got the most votes consecutively. On Thursday, LPDF members will vote for one final option to select new executive authority for the country.
