The UNSMIL deputy head for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, said that an international economic expert is to join the UN mission team in Libya.
Stephanie explained during her meeting with Finance Minister, Osama Hammad, that the expert will interact with the Committee on Financial Policy.
The meeting held at the ministry's headquarters in Tripoli discussed the reform program presented by the Presidential Council and the Central Bank of Libya.
For his part, Hammad stressed the need to start the implementation of the package of economic reforms, calling for the modification of the exchange rate, and to reconsider the issue of fuel subsidies.
