The United Nations Support Mission In Libya (UNSMIL) congratulated on Monday the citizens of Zawiya South, al-Haraba, Jado, and Kabaw for electing their municipal councils, praising their determination to "exercise their democratic rights."
On its official account on Twitter, the UNSMIL also commended the work of the Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections, pointing out that it succeeded in organizing "transparent and credible municipal elections throughout Libya while ensuring the necessary health requirements."
