The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has said it had documented grave violations against civilians in the city of Tarhuna and adjacent cities, in order to place them before the local and international courts.

In a statement Saturday, the mission strongly condemned the growing threats to the lives and interests of civilians, as a result of the escalation and expansion of armed confrontations.

Pro-Haftar militants known as "Kaniyat" from Tarhuna had showered the city of Msllata with rockets at dawn, on Saturday, resulting in civilian casualties and the destruction of property.
