The UN mission said that Tawerghan IDPs continue to return to their homes despite the lack of minimum living conditions and a scarcity of necessary infrastructure and of vital social services.

Around 550 families have returned so far, according to a statement by the UN mission yesterday.

Libya's Humanitarian Coordinator, Yacoub El Hillo conducted a visit to Tawergha on Monday at the head of a UN delegation to take stock of the humanitarian situation in the city and to gain first-hand insights into the challenges facing its residents, according to the mission statement.
