A delegation of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) arrived in Benghazi to discuss with the Steering Council of the city, the finalization of the procedures for opening the mission's office in Benghazi, Benghazi Municipality disclosed in a statement Wednesday.

The talks covered ways to support the work of the international organizations in Benghazi and to enhance cooperation programs in relation to the humanitarian response plan for 2019.

The meeting was attended by relevant world organizations, including, the World Food Organization official Samer Abdul-Jabbar, World Health Organization official Jafar Hussein, and the International Organization for Migration, in addition to members of the Municipal Council and the UNSMIL's delegation.
