The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) welcomed on Tuesday the permanent ceasefire agreement in Libya signed between both parties to the conflict in Geneva on October 24, under the guidance of the United Nations Mission in Libya.

The UNSC demanded in a statement all intervening parties in Libya to comply with the arms embargo on Libya and to desist from any interference in its internal affairs, calling on the Libyan parties to fully implement the agreement and abide by their obligations.
