The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is scheduled to hold two briefing sessions on Libya in November, during Mexico’s presidency of the body for the next month.

During two sessions, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court will brief the UNSC on Libya, according to a statement of the UNSC on Sunday.

Amongst the most relevant issues, a briefing and consultation session will be devoted to the activities of the joint military force of the five Sahel countries.
