The US Embassy has announced that the 5 + 5 military talks taking place in Geneva under the umbrella of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), have made progress in the second round.

“These dialogues underscore that a brighter future is possible when Libyans come together peacefully to negotiate on the issues that divide them,” the embassy tweeted Monday.

The 5 + 5 Military Commission is scheduled to resume talks in Geneva next month to complete the preparation of the Terms of Reference of the sub-committees in charge of the implementation of the agreement.
