The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has called on all municipalities in Libya to participate in the "Child-friendly Municipality Award, in cooperation with the government of the Presidential Council.
UNICEF confirmed through its Twitter account that the award aims to create a competitive environment between municipalities to establish child-friendly spaces and communities within the framework of the convention on children rights.
"The winning cities will be internationally recognized for their efforts and investments for a better future for children in Libya," UNICEF explained.
