The UNHCR has delivered 300 school desks to a number of schools in Abu Salim Municipality in Tripoli.
The Municipality said that this step comes to fill the shortfall of seats in most schools, in the absence of any meaningful steps from the Ministry of Education of the Presidential Council.
It also stressed that the provision of desks will facilitate the start of the new school year, which is scheduled to begin next Sunday.
