The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office in Libya has confirmed that as of February 28, about 1,940 refugees and migrants have been rescued by the Libyan Coast Guard and disembarked in Libya.

UNHCR reiterated that it would continue with its partners, the International Medical Corps, to provide medical assistance and core relief items at disembarkation points.

A total of 207 people have been disembarked at Tripoli Commercial Port, among them 27 women and 7 children, according to the UNHCR.
