The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has distributed urgent aid to 340 migrants in Janzur district, western Tripoli.

The UNHCR has provided aid, in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), to migrants from Sudan and Syria. The aid included food baskets, hygiene kits and water purification tablets.

The UNHCR distributed in April aid to 500 migrants in Tripoli, as part of a plan aimed at providing assistance to 4000 people throughout the month of Ramadan.
