The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in coordination with the Libyan Relief Commission and the Municipal Council of Tarhuna, distributed aid to about 500 families, who fled from conflict areas in Tripoli to the city of Tarhuna.

The UNHCR explained via Facebook, Wednesday, that it has also provided over the past few days assistance to more than 130 people in the western region.

The UNHCR added that 1500 families have fled to several areas inside and outside Tripoli over the past four days, while the total number of displaced families since the start of southern Tripoli clashes on August 26 reached 5000.
