The new Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for Libya, Marc Andre Franche, reviewed with Presidential Council (PC) member, Musa Al-Koni, the partnership program due to be implemented for the reconstruction of the southern regions of Libya, in coordination with all relevant authorities.

During their meeting in Tripoli, the UN official explained that this program is set to be carried out through development programs to invest in human resources for the youth category, through training programs to develop skills, perfect expertise, and prepare specifically trained manpower in a professional manner.

For his part, Al-Koni praised the partnership with the UNDP, reiterating the necessity to work on these programs that directly contribute to initiating much-needed development in the southern regions.

Franche also held a separate meeting with PC member Abdullah Al-Lafi where they reviewed the latest developments in Libya including the reconciliation file.
