The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Rida, received during the past few days the Resident Representative of the UN Development Program (UNDP) in Libya, Marc-André Franche, to discuss enhancing mutual partnership and cooperation.

Minister Al-Rida stressed that coordination would bring international experience to spaces needed in the domestic labor market, including training and capacity development in the professional and vocational fields.

For his part, the UNDP official commended the cooperation extended by the Ministry of Labour and also the role it plays through the "National Project for Rehabilitation and Reintegration" that was launched recently.

He confirmed that the UNDP would support the ministry through various programs and projects to help provide jobs, which would achieve stability in Libya, emphasizing that this can only be done through economic integration programs.
