The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has documented 47 deaths and 54 injuries during hostilities in May in different parts of Libya.

It its human rights report on civilian injuries for May 2018, the UNSMIL noted that the victims were caught up in the course of hostilities throughout different parts of Libya, Including car or suicide bombings.

The report said that the number of people killed in May was the highest recorded by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya for any month in 2018.

It added that among the deaths were 38 men, 3 women and 6 children, while the injuries included 43 men, 3 women and 9 children.
