The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) said it had offered training for 12 of the Libyan military engineers to improve their explosive ordnance disposal capabilities.

According to the UNMAS, the training program, which was held in Tunis for a month, included advanced knowledge of conventional ordnance disposal techniques and emergency medical trauma response that could threaten life during duty.
