The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Libya, Yacoub El-Hillo, confirmed on Wednesday that his tenure in the UN mission has ended, after he chose voluntary retirement.

This came during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Sayala.

The meeting also dealt with the latest developments in the humanitarian situation in Libya and work to improve the conditions of people affected by the failed aggression against Tripoli and other Libyan cities.
