The ItaMilRadar website has said that the drones have become the mainstay of the war in Libya, in the six past months since the beginning of Haftar's offensive against Tripoli.

The military aviation control website quoted the UN military envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame as saying that the Tripoli war saw some 900 missions carried out by drones from both sides, noting that the use of these aircraft has increased dramatically in recent weeks.

It also disclosed that the UAE has supplied Haftar with Chinese-made drones in recent months and had deployed specialists to Libya in order to operate these aircraft, according to the website.
