UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame disclosed that the UN Committee of Experts is following closely the arms embargo on Libya and the allegations of violations, regarding the use of foreign mercenaries and operators to operate drones in the present war.

In a statement to Reuters, Salame expressed hope that the Berlin conference on Libya -scheduled to take place next November- will be able to issue a Security Council resolution committing foreign powers to stop the escalation of proxy war in Libya and establish an effective mechanism to implement the arms embargo imposed on Libya.
