Director of the Department of Relations and Information in the Municipality of Trahuna Mohammed Saied said that the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame had requested the Seventh Brigade to be part of the security arrangements in Tripoli.

Saied explained in a media statement that Salame urged the Security Directorate of Tarhuna to cooperate with the neighbouring areas in order to establish security and stability.

Salame praised during his meeting with members of Tarhuna Municipal Council and the city's MPs the improvement of the security conditions in Tripoli, after the signing of the ceasefire agreement and the withdrawal of the armed groups from some of the locations.
