The head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Ghassan Salame briefed Wednesday the diplomatic missions operating from the capital Tripoli and Tunis on the ceasefire agreement that was signed between the conflict parties in Tripoli and on the next steps of the security arrangements agreed with the Presidential Council and the military and security leadership in Tripoli.

In his meeting with the diplomats at the Mission's headquarters in Tripoli, Salame explained that the mission had identified the violators and that those who intend to violate the ceasefire would be held accountable, stressing that the United Nations and the international community are watching them.
