The UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame expressed Wednesday his hope that the 5 + 5 Military Committee would meet in Geneva, Switzerland, early next week.
In an interview with the Anadolu Agency, Salame praised the Turkish and Russian role in reaching a truce in Libya.
At another level, the UN envoy has said that oil operations in Libya must resume as soon as possible, stressing that Libyan people should not remain hostage to political maneuvers.
