The deputy head of the Presidential Council Ahmed Mitig met with the Ukrainian ambassador to Libya, Mykola Nahorny, and discussed commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Ukrainian ambassador confirmed that his country was willing to ramp up cooperation with Libya, saying their embassy office will soon be opened in Tripoli, besides resuming direct flights between Libya and Ukraine, according to Mitig’s Facebook page, adding that Ukraine wishes to reactivate the agreements between the two countries on all levels.
