Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, on Monday, discussed with the British Ambassador, Caroline Hurndall, the UK's support for Libyan authorities towards holding elections.

Hurndall said, through her Twitter account that the meeting touched on the common interests between the United Kingdom and Libya, especially in the issues of climate change and regional stability.

On Sunday, the British ambassador met with the Presidential Council Head Muhammad Menfi to discuss support for the national reconciliation project in Libya, the continuation of the ceasefire, and support for the work of the Joint Military Committee (5 + 5), to achieve stability, with a view to paving the way for the general elections next December.
