The second deputy head of the High Council of State (HCS) Mohammed Emazib said the United Arab Emirates sent Libyan eastern warlord Khalifa Haftar money from the Libyan frozen assets in Abu Dhabi.

Emazib told Alnabaa TV on Saturday that the news varies about the amount of Libyan frozen assets in the UAE, expressing concern over the frozen assets in Arab and African countries.

He also added that the Presidential Council is doing its best to partially unfreeze Libya’s assets abroad. He denied that Libya lost 10 billion euros in Belgium.
