Two women from Sudan have been abducted and then murdered by an armed group in Benghazi, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry confirmed.

Local sources said the two women were found with signs of torture and gunshots.

Three other Sudanese women have been also abducted and their fate is still unknown.

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry summoned Libyan Charge d'affaires in Khartoum to express outrage over the murder and abduction of the women. The ministry demanded local Libyan authorities to detain the killers and bring them to justice. It also asked them to provide protection for all Sudanese nationals.
