Ahmaida Tarbah, Dignity Operation-appointed mayor of Derna by the military governor of the eastern region, has confirmed the entry of two petrol trucks to the city after a cut of fuel supplies for years.

The trucks entered after obtaining permission from the military governor of the eastern region, Abdel Razek Nadori, in coordination with Dignity Operation forces, who are surrounding the city.

This load of petrol will be used to improve the conditions of services and help reduce the burden being bared by the average citizen from the hardships of travelling to neighbouring areas to obtain gasoline.

Derna has been suffering from a suffocating blockade for more than a year and a half, which prevents the entry of fuel, commodities and cash.
