A spokesman for the Ubari municipality, Abd Asalam Al-Kilani, confirmed that two guards of the National Commercial Bank of Ubari were injured, one seriously following a random shooting incident.

Al-Kilani explained in a press statement that the injury of the two guards came as a direct result of a clash, which took place in the vicinity of the bank on Friday night, July 16, between a group of young citizens, who seemed to be out on a social occasion and the security personnel at the bank.

He added that the situation in the city has since remained calm, indicating that they had contacted the relevant authorities to ascertain the details of the incident more closely.
