Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a speech during a ceremony held in connection with the "TANAP" project for transporting gas to Europe on Saturday that his country's agreement with Libya concerning determining the maritime boundary between the two states will enter into force and be applied in all its provisions.

The agreement signed between the two countries was met with strong objections from some countries, most notably Egypt, a close ally of Haftar, as well as Greece and Cyprus, while a former US official said his country has no objection to the agreement.
