The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told Milliyet newspaper after an Ankara meeting that a parliamentary delegation from Turkey will be on an official visit to Libya in the coming days.

The announcement comes less than two months after the visit of the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Aqila Saleh to Turkey and his meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and a number of officials.

After that visit, and exactly following deadly clashes in Tripoli in last August, the Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and his rival, the HoR-designated PM Fathi Bashagha as well as the Head of the High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri visited Turkey.
