The Turkish ambassador to Libya, Serhat Aksen, has expressed Turkish companies' offers to work in litter recycling and infrastructure projects in partnership with Libyan municipalities, in addition to consolidating the sister city agreements between Libyan and Turkish cities.

The remarks came in a meeting held by the Turkish ambassador Monday with the deputy minister of local governing at the Government of National Accord, Abdelbari Shinbaro, in the presence of mayors of Zintan, Souq Al-Jumua, Al-Zawiya, Misrata, Tarhouna, Abu Salim, and Al-Maya.

The meeting saw a presentation for the ministry of governing's plans to provide more authorities to the municipalities, showcasing some of the obstacles the ministry is facing and the development projects it wants to conduct in cooperation with Turkish firms.
