The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that it would continue to provide training to members of the Libyan Naval Forces in the field of ‘underwater defense’, in compliance with an agreement reached between both countries.

In a tweet on Sunday, the ministry said, “We continue to provide training for brotherly Libya which has deeply rooted relations with us based on 500 years of common history. Our personnel have been providing ‘Underwater Defence Training (Demolition Phase)’ to the Libyan soldiers.”
